Brent Robinson was first appointed Managing Director at Rakon Industries Limited in 1986 and continues in that role at Rakon. Brent has over 25 years experience in the design and manufacture of Crystals and Oscillators.
Since his appointment Brent has led and driven the development of Rakon’s core TCXO business, which is the basis of the Company’s success today, supplying over 50% of the world GPS market for TCXOs.
Since assuming leadership in 1986, Rakon has grown from sales of approximately $1.7m to a forecast of $73.3m in FY2006. Brent is the co-author of various white papers pertinent to the GPS industry.
Brent has completed an electronics apprenticeship. Brent lives in Auckland.
