Mike Hutcheson - ICE Interactive/ Lighthouse Ideas
Mike grew up in Nelson, was educated at Nelson College, Canterbury and Victoria Universities, he never finished a degree but did break the World Rocking Chair record. Co-founded advertising agencies Colenso and Hutcheson Knowles Marinkovich.(HKM). And culminated his career in Auckland as Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi. Also set up Replica Homes, a national building franchise and ran his own real estate company. He now runs The Lighthouse Ideas Company, an innovation and start-up incubator. Contributed a regular humour column to The Independent for many years and currently writes for Unlimited, his columns have been collected and published in two books, the modestly titled, “No1 Best Seller” and “Beethoven’s Banker And Other Stories” Also co-authoured “Kickstart Your Creativity”.
