Michael Daniell was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corporation Limited in November 2001. Preceding that appointment he was General Manager of Fisher & Paykel’s healthcare division from May 1990 until November 2001. From 1979 until May 1990, he held various positions in Fisher & Paykel’s healthcare division, including product design engineer and technical manager. He has 30 years of international healthcare business experience in a company that has consistently doubled in size every four or five years. Mike has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering with honours from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
